The PQZR8-SN series soft starter, featuring an integrated bypass contactor, offers significant performance enhancements compared to standard AC contactors, including a 3x increase in performance, 2.6x improved heat dissipation, 25% greater safety, 20% energy savings, and a service life of up to 100,000 cycles. Its compact design is ideal for space-constrained motor control centers, simplifying installation.
This built-in bypass soft starter, with advanced control and protection features and closed-loop control for stabilized soft start torque, provides a user-friendly, efficient, and reliable motor start and run solution. Equipped with three internal relays, it eliminates the need for external contactors. Please specify your requirement for this built-in contactor model when ordering, as the standard version is an economic type.

▌Built-in bypass Soft Starter Advanced Features:

  • By bypassing the power electronics during normal running, the soft starter dissipates significantly less heat, leading to improved energy efficiency and a longer lifespan for the soft starter components.

▌Protection Function:
☑Phase Loss Protection:
When any one of the three phases is open-circuited, the protection action time is less than 1 minute.
☑Phase Imbalance Protection:
When the three-phase imbalance K1 or K2 is greater than 10%, the protection action time is less than 10 minutes.
☑Overcurrent Protection:
When the motor is stalled, the protector operates with a delay of (±1s).
☑Overvoltage Protection:
When the power supply voltage Ue > 120%, the protection action time is less than 1 second.
☑Undervoltage Protection:
When the power supply voltage is (60%-75%) Ue, the protection action time is less than 60 seconds.
☑Reset Function:
Manual reset via the stop button.
☑Overtemperature Protection:
When the soft starter operates at an excessive temperature, the soft starter will automatically shut down and report a soft start overheat fault.

▌Environmental requirements:
If the altitude exceeds 1000 meters, the capacity should be reduced accordingly. For every 100 meters increase above 1000 meters, the current should be reduced by 0.5%; The relative humidity should not exceed 95% when the ambient temperature is between -10 ℃ and+40 ℃; No condensation, no flammable and explosive gases, no conductive dust, in a well ventilated indoor environment
